Affordable Items, Real Impact
The Tusen Tack Thrift Store exists for one simple reason: to make everyday essentials accessible while giving back to the community.
You’ll find clean, gently used clothing, furniture, and household goods priced so people can actually afford them. Not just discounted. Accessible.
Everything in the store is donated. Everything is sorted and organized by volunteers. And every purchase goes right back into the community.
That means when you shop here, you are doing more than finding a good deal. You are helping fund programs that support local families, schools, emergency services, and other community needs.
This is where it all started in 1989. And it is still the foundation that supports everything else Tusen Tack does today.

Fully volunteer-run since its incorporation, it has become the cornerstone of the Tusen Tack Programs, lending its name- meaning “a thousand thanks” in Swedish to the organization.
